A native of Boston, he began his education at Holy Cross College in Worcester, Mass, where he received a B.A. in Biology. Following a research fellowship at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard University, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1997.
Dr. Restivo completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Boston University before returning to Houston to complete his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston in 2001.
Personal Details
Dr. Restivo and his wife, Heidi, live in Austin and enjoy spending time with their sons, Maddox and Liam, and their two dogs, Lupe and Cricket.
