Dr. Restivo is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in laser vision correction. He founded Restivo Laser Vision to bring world-class LASIK, PRK, and cataract surgery to the Austin community with a personal, patient-first approach.

Dr. Vincent A. Restivo is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology who has served as President of the Austin Ophthalmologic Society. He specializes in LASIK Surgery, LASEK Surgery, Laser Cataract Surgery, and PRK Surgery, serving Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, and surrounding Texas communities.
A native of Boston, Dr. Restivo began his education at Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts, earning a B.A. in Biology. Following a research fellowship at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard University, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1997. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Boston University before returning to Houston for his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical School, which he completed in 2001.
After completing his medical training, Dr. Restivo joined a private practice in Round Rock, Texas, where he refined his skills as a leading eye surgeon and LASIK specialist. Today he proudly serves as chief medical physician at Restivo Laser Vision.
Dr. Restivo and his wife, Heidi, live in Austin and enjoy spending time with their sons, Maddox and Liam, and their two dogs, Lupe and Cricket.
